So for once, the state has helped my butt out.  I went to planned parenthood today and I told them that I lost my health insurance, my edometriosis is acting up and I have been on my period for three weeks.

So they gave me a year’s supply of birth control, two boxes of Plan B, and 30 condoms, varying as sheer, mint flavored, strawberry, and polka dotted.  

I called the Doctor an angel and she told me to thank the state.  So this is me, thanking the state.  I knew Planned Parenthood did this kind of thing, but I had never experienced it.  Its such a blessing that I live in California where we support women in their health and pregnancy prevention.  The doctor there asked more about my edometriosis than any ER doctor or OBGYN ever had.

Conservatives insist that responsible social safety nets in America are useless wastes of money that don’t work and do long-term harm. Actual human beings in need disagree.

This is absolutely fucking amazing. A huge FUCK YEAH to Planned Parenthood.
